Greetings from New Hampshire!
Well, at midnight tonight, my first support-raising road-trip will be half over. Mom and I hit the road on Thursday the 16th, and we're almost to Maine now. We stopped first in St. Augustine and saw my friend Amanda, then drove late into the night into the Carolinas. Next morning, we drove north, and arrived grumpy (after fighting DC traffic and accidents & construction for 3 hours longer than we should have!!!), and spent the evening, the next day & following morning with Doug & Heidi. Then we met up with an old music theatre friend, Richard, and after that, a Continentals buddy (both in DC/Baltimore area). Then it was off to Kat's house in Delaware! Next morning, we stopped in to see Steve & Audrey Bollers (fellow FIM missionaries), then up to Tatiana's in PA (a Moody friend). Then we drove through New Hope, PA, the town I had my brief carriage company manager career in (Mom had never seen it before), then up to NJ and Uncle Chet!
Spent the following day with Chet and took the ferry out to the Statue of Liberty, then crashed back at the wonderful Bed & Breakfast (The Pillar in Plainfield, NJ), owened by Lemont & Nancy (delightful new friends!) and rose early this morning and drove to Connecticut to meet up with Melody & her mom & sis, then up to Boston to meet with Caitlyn...now we're in NH & will meet with Andrew tomorrow, then up to Maine...with even more stops on the way back!I know you don't really want to hear all the details (since you won't know the people!), and such, but I will uplod photos soon with captions.
